Meet Our Skilled Support Staff

Vanessa went to Fairmont State University to pursue her passion in art. While she spent 8 years as a screen printer and graphic designer, she later decided that animal care was her passion and began working for us in 2017.

Amber graduated from WVU in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Animal and Nutritional Sciences. She got married to her complete opposite, Billy, in 2011 and they now have 2 sons, William and Warren.

Danielle is currently attending WVU, majoring in Animal and Nutritional Science with minors in Equine Studies and Agribusiness Management. She will be graduating in May 2023. Her plan is to pursue her dreams and attend veterinary school afterwards.

Rikki has over 30 years experience in the customer service industry and her skills are unmatched! She began her animal care career with us in 2012. She enjoys making wine tags in her spare time.

Amelia graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 2023. She plans to attend WVU in the fall and pursue a major in Animal and Nutritional Sciences. Her passion for animal welfare helped her seek employment with us and we expect her to begin training in other areas of the hospital soon.

Hannah graduated from North Marion High School in 2018 and completed the Animal Science program at the Marion County Technical Center. She is planning to further her education through an online technical school. Working with and helping animals has always been her dream.

Jessica graduated with a Masters degree in Criminal Justice at Fairmont State University. She began her time with us in 2008. She is the oldest of a set of triplets.

Autumn graduated the Veterinary Technology program at Pierpont Community and Technical College in 2019. She began her career with us early on in 2016. She has 2 children, Tucker and Evelynn. Together their family is made complete with their 3 cats, Queen B, Casanova, and Thomas O'Malley.

Megan received a Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Fairmont State University in 2020. She is a candidate of Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2024. Her favorite activity is spending time with her English Labrador Retriever, Lincoln.

Madison is currently in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program. Growing up on a farm helped to shape her passion for animal welfare. From a very young age she allowed her love of animals to make a commitment to her becoming a veterinarian or a veterinary technician.

Angelina graduated from North Marion High School in 2016. She also completed the Animal Science and Nursing programs at the Marion County Technical Center. When young, she had a passion for animal welfare and continued through school as a member of the FFA.

Casey graduated From Fairmont State University with an Associate's degree in Business Management. She always knew that helping animals was her calling in life and began working with us 12 years ago.
